This epic media pack I call Arcadia, will be designed to appeal strongly to the irrational. Secretly the course of action in the story will provide support for reason, which will cause the consumer to make a change in their philisophical stance.
Take the things that the irrational value, conformity, power, etc. Paint a picture of what these values lead to. Show clearly the reason why these things lead to those conclusions. Make the music very emotional. As the story continues, the music gets less depressive, however not happy, but more powerful and determined and sure. Perhaps electronic music can convey this the best because techno music is a product of reason, and the machines man makes.
To make it interesting I plan on blowing it up with emotional music, and interesting to the eye as far as visual aesthetics are concerned. I plan on presenting it so that it isn’t too challenging for the audience.
